Arrival Byron Bay Destination Western Australia

Posted on 08 May 2014. Filed in Australia, Travelling, Queensland

After 12 Hours flight from Dubai we finally arrived at Sydney Airport moving on to Ballina/Byron Bay where we got escorted with a shuttle bus to Byron Bay to pick up our stuff and kimberley karavan campertrailer. Taking it easy the rest of the day we went for a work along the coast line of Byron Bay.

Enjoying the last bit of sunshine before sunset - which was very early as it is now there wintertime. Also, it was getting quite cold at night but still Byron Bay is a nice place to stay even in winter :)

Go West - the travel plan

Getting surprisingly well over the jet lag we got everything ready in 2 days and headed west and inland on wednesday 7th of may 2014. The travel plan for this time is to drive and drive until we reach the first big attraction which will be Nitmiluk National Park & Katherine's Gorge, then head up to Kakadu National Park, Darwin, Litchfield National Park and then finally Western Australia (WA) where we would like to visit the Kimberley Region and head over to Broome on the west coast.

We would like to invite you to come with us on our journey and down under adventure by following this blog. We will do our best to post some exiting travel stories. Enjoy and have a good day Mate :)

All the Best,

Michael and Beate
